is the former concertmaster of Ensemble Oriol Berlin and former leader of the Manon Quartet Berlin. She co-founded Ensemble Vintage Köln and is professor of violin at the Hochschule für Musik Köln. She plays both modern and Baroque violin.

is a violin maker and restorer. After graduating from the Cremona School of Violin Making he worked for Wilhelm Geigenbau in Switzerland and Florian Leonhard in London. He has given talks about the purfling on classical Italian violins.
MILENA NOVENTA

is a violin maker based in Parma. She received her training at the Parma Violin Making School under the guidance of Renato Scrollavezza. She mainly focuses on the making of new instruments inspired by the Emilia-Romagna tradition.
WALTER REITER

is the author of The Baroque Violin & Viola: a Fifty Lesson Course (OUP). A former principal of The English Concert, he teaches in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and around the world.
JOHN SIMMERS

studied viola and double bass at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He also studied at the Newark School of Violin Making and established his own workshop in Brisbane in 1997. He is a founder member and president of the Australian Violin Makers Association.
NANDOR SZEDERKÉNYI

is internationally known for his performances as a soloist, concertmaster and chamber musician. As well as researching works by Ysaÿe and Eckhardt-Gramatté, he creates transcriptions for various string chamber music combinations. He plays a violin made by Ferdinando Gagliano.
