SEPARATE WAYS
The Kun Seven’s key innovation is a decoupling of the bridge and pad, designed to make its position and placing customisable. The bridge’s inner part can be extended by using a brass spring clip, and the feet’s screws are offset to reach further down the purfling to secure the rest better. The pad is covered in a silicone-coated fabric for extra grip and has a manipulable aluminium core.

FRESH APPROACH
Nine years after the release of the maple and aluminium KorfkerRest, Pirastro has come out with a synthetic model: the KorfkerRest Luna. The legs can be folded, adjustment does not involve screws, and extra barrel legs of different lengths are provided. Extensive testing into the acoustical properties of different material compounds were done to find the final material. The rest was also created to be more affordable than the earlier model.
